Consulting engagements

All consulting work is governed by a separate engagement agreement signed before work begins. That agreement—not these website terms—defines the scope, deliverables, pricing, and obligations for both parties.

Our IP: TNT Research retains ownership of our methodologies, tools, and underlying technology. Engagement agreements may grant clients specific usage rights.

Your IP: You retain ownership of your data and any pre-existing intellectual property. Deliverables created during engagements are addressed in the engagement agreement—typically, you own the outputs specific to your engagement.

Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential. We don't disclose client relationships, data, or engagement details without permission. Mutual confidentiality terms are typically included in engagement agreements.

Limitation of liability

Our consulting provides analysis and recommendations based on the data and information available to us. We cannot guarantee specific business outcomes. Liability limitations are defined in individual engagement agreements.

No professional advice

Our services are analytical consulting. We don't provide legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice. Clients should consult appropriate professionals for such matters.

Governing law

These terms and any engagement agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise specified in an engagement agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes don't affect existing engagement agreements, which are governed by their own terms.
